Thought I'd post an update:

I took the truck into a shop last week as I couldn't fix the leak myself (don't have the tools/space to drop the tank) and they were probably the most honest mechanics I've dealt with, there young'ins and have what at first looks like a very shady shop, but some very good friends vouched for their work and I took their word for it.

The original quote was $350-unseen
When the truck was looked at, I was told the fuel sender (the whole module, not just the cheap-*censored* sender portion) was cracked due to fatigued plastic the price for the sender unit was $49.95 new, the price for the module was $500 new +$85 for new straps +$200 labor. I told them flat out I couldn't afford it and would be coming to pick the truck up.

The person on the phone then suggested he could look for a much cheaper, used sender. I gave him the go-ahead and received a phone call 3 days later. They basically told me that the searched high and low and found a used sender for $170 and all together the truck would cost $470 and that was including some new steel fuel lines.

I'm picking up the truck tomorrow hopefully all is well.

As a side note, even though I cant afford it I'm looking at a friends 1988 Toyota Celica GT-Four that hes going to sell (lack of space/kid on the way) it only has 180,000kms on the clock (the body is minty too) and he said he has a truck load of spare parts for it as well as 3 spare engines to go with it. If I'm not mistaken that Corolla is a 5spd with the Turbo-Charged 3S-GTE!! I told him my finances only allowed me to spend around $1500, so we will see what the verdict is tomorrow.

Update:

I just found out last week the my brush guard is going to be delayed 4-8 weeks because Westin only makes the Sportsman for my Ram to order since its an older model vehicle....oh well as long as its here before the snow flies I'm good Cool. I also got myself a pair of 110w spot lights, I opted to go for a rectangle pair since every truck owner and his dog have the round style Laughing .

I also priced myself out a fairly decent sound system here are the specs:

4 5X7 Scosche speakers @75watts each (300 watts)
1 Scosche 12' Sub woofer @500watts
1 Scosche Red 600watt amp
1 300watt deck (undecided on brand)
Wiring Kit
Slim Profile Sub Box

Total Cost: $550-$650+ Installation Not bad. I'm going to get this system in a month or two depending on my next few paychecks!

Update:

The sound system for my truck has been put on hold, it turns out I will need slim profile speakers for the truck witch tips my budget a bit too much over. A Roll bar for the truck has also been put on hold until I can find out if one for a 3rd gen Ram will fit (they don't manufacture roll bars for a 2nd gen ram anymore Evil or Very Mad) To cope with this I purchased a pair of black Anzo tail lights for the truck:

These will replace my old battered up ones and they only cost $107 for the pair!
