Cool-my aunt has a '65 corvair(hasn't driven it since 1985, it's kept covered up in the garage)I remember riding in it to a gas station~1980,and a couple of the station guys came out and commented "that is one of those corvairs that the engine falls out of"LOL

A bad day working on the Lada is better than a good day at work.

Got it all for sale. Corvairs are pretty good cars. Easy to fix and service. Gotta get four doors. Lada 😁

Thanks. Built in in 2012 with the help of my neighbor and friends for the trusses. Saved a mint doing it myself. Corvair sold yesterday and the Dnepr is selling so far on eBay.

Thanks gain. It was a lot of work and almost wore some patiences thin. I remember when we were hefting up and installing the roof sheathing panels in hot July or whenever and asking my friend (being earnest at this point sweating my rear off) "What the hell is wrong with me?" We were getting wore out, but it paid off and I love all those who helped. Lots of BBQ and drinks. Lol

I think getting worn out during the process is normal to anyone who builds something. I, too, had experienced building my friend's truck. We were fixing it under a scorching heat. The weather makes it unbearable but we managed to finish it.

You said you guys had lots of BBQ and drinks. That's what made it fun.
