Hi, iâ€™m planning on getting a Lada Vaz-2105 and was wondering how i would prevent rust on the vehicle. i love the design and look of ladas, and donâ€™t want to damage the car, yknow? tips and advice from how you guys have prevented rust on your ladas would be appreciative!

#1: keep it away from salt !!
#2:If it has been exposed to salt,you must thoughly rinse the underside and rockers then dry the cleaned area right away-any salt concentrations will absorb moisture out of the air and rust even if car is sheltered from the weather.
#3: there is no rust protection on an old Lada besides the paint coating-when you get the Lada,check it over very close for any rust starting and correct the situation right away Smile

In the Lada I had,rust was in the rockers,front corners of the floor pan,lower seams of the doors,rear wheel arches,and top of fenders behind headlamps. There are several other details that need checked right away once you get the car.
