Now I have new worries. just since last week when I get my Niva to top speeds 110km/h+ I get a very loud fast clacking sound in fifth gear and it will continue even if I pull it out of gear or in forth at high speeds. It will run nice and quiet in fifth as long as I keep it under 100km/h any ideas would be great.
Thanks

Did you sort your rear wheel issue out yet?

not yet I get conflicting advice some say bering is shot others say that the wheel is out of balance I am not sure. I get no vibration in stering wheel and the alignment is perfect. unfortunatly I don't have the money right now to take it in to the shop.

You're driving at 100+ km/h with a known rear wheel issue.

Not only are you endangering yourself but all the other road users around you. If you can't afford to get it sorted don't drive the car. Otherwise get it sorted as soon as possible. The chances are your "new" noise is related.

no, ecsept to canadian tire and princess auto very close. I got to see the wobble last night, I visited my Dad and had him drive it and I followed in his car. the wobble is very slight and he couldnt tell at all. as soon as it made those loud sounds at fast speeds i havn't been driving, only to test.
