Its been a while since I posted. So I have this issue: my 2105 is setup with stock disc brakes up front, and drum brakes on a Ford 8 inch rear end in the rear.
The drumbrakes are sized for a Ford Mustang, which weighs about 50% more than a Lada 2105. When I do a panic stop, the rear locks up and the car wants to flip around (rear wants to come to the front). And to be honest, I'm not very impressed with the braking power of stock Lada brakes.
I need better and bigger rotors and calipers up front. I'm running a 14 inch wheel. So I can stuff something bigger than stock upfront.
Now I found this: http://www.allisonsautomotive.com/products.html
Scroll down to about 1/2 way, and there is a Fiat 124 big brake kit for 14 inch wheels. Is a Fiat 124 spindle the same as a Lada 2105 spindle?
Or are there other options? Thanks in advance guys!
