Hi all, I've been fancying Ladas for years now and am finally getting serious about importing one. I've never imported a vehicle before. What should I know about the process? What should I look out for when buying a Lada? What are some common issues with Ladas? (specifically for models 2101-2106, as that's what I'm interested in)

I appreciate any info shared from anecdotes to official documents. Thanks.

Find anything out? I'd be interested to hear about this as well. I'm in Ukraine currently, looking to bring back a Niva in a few months. I'm good on the 25 year old aspect, looking for the "actually doing it" advice. Thanks!
